The Gladney Endowment

The Gladney Endowment is presented annually to a deserving young physician with an interest in rural medicine

The recipient must be a graduate of a Louisiana medical school, have participated in rural AHEC training programs and have already matched with a Louisiana Family Practice Residency Program.

The Board of Directors of North Louisiana AHEC in collaboration with the friends and family of James F. Gladney, Sr.. James F. Gladney, Jr. and W. P. "Pat" Gladney have established the Gladney Endowment to honor these physicians for their dedication to medicine and their efforts to encourage students and physicians to enter rural family medicine.

Contribution Information: All donations to the Gladney Endowment are tax deductible. Your donation will become a permanent endowment as only the interest income from the Endowment will be used to fund scholarships for deserving young physicians. All contributors will receive a receipt and will be acknowledged by North Louisiana AHEC.

North Louisiana AHEC is a non profit 501 (c) (3) organization serving the twenty-one parishes of North Louisiana. NLAHEC administers the scholarship fund. The Endowment is governed by the Board of Directors of North Louisiana AHEC and managed by the Endowment Committee.
